Qualifications:

  • Homeowner must be on title

    • If a co-signer is needed, co-signer does not need to be on title, but co-signers can ONLY be spouse/domestic partner. Do not submit anyone else as a co applicant. 

  • 640 FICO Credit Requirement

  • Min Loan $10,000 - Max Loan $125,000

  • 30 year loan and warranty if using Q-Cells.

  • Home MUST be an approved type

    • In general, this means single family, fully owned home.

      • Multi Family up to 4 units is allowed.

      • Mobile homes on a permanent foundation are allowed. Land must be owned.

      • 2nd and Vacation homes are allowed.

  • Multi Meter

    • Is allowed but owner of property must also be the owner of the roof.

  • Ground Mounts

    • Ground mounts are allowed.

  • Acceptable use

    • Solar power generation system equipment

    • Electrical system upgrades related to install

    • Re-roofing

    • Energy storage systems (paired to PV)

      • If installing battery-only, must not offer more than a 10-year loan.

    • Pre-paid O&M contracts covering solar energy system upkeep

    • Other services directly related to install, such as

      trenching, foliage trimming, fencing, etc.

Deal Process for Customer

  • Contracts

    • In home you will be able to request and sign the HIC required.

    • The loan contract will be sent by you through Enfin Portal .

  • Site Survey

    • Please take site survey photos in the home. The deal submission form allows you to upload photos into their respective categories. When photos are taken in home, this helps us speed up the process tremendously.

  • From 5-30 year.

  • For system size less than or equal to 4.5kw

    • Solar system only (max $7.50/W for non-CA, $8/W for CA)

    • Solar system with battery storage (max $11/W)

    • Solar system with reroofing (max $13/W)

    • Solar system with battery storage and reroofing (max $16/W)

    • For system size greater than 4.5kw

o Solar system only (max $6.50/W for non-CA, $7/W for CA)

o Solar system with battery storage (max $10/W)

o Solar system with reroofing (max $12/W)

o Solar system with battery storage and reroofing (max $15/W)

• For ground mount systems

o Solar system only with ground mount (max $7.50/W for non-CA, $8/W for CA)

o Solar system with battery storage and ground mount (max $11/W)

• For battery storage only (no $/W limit)

o tenor limited to 10 years and maximum loan amount of $30,000
